Esaila, a global interior brand from Taiwan, offers spaciousness and high-quality craftsmanship.

What do architects, interior designers, and contract professionals look for in interiors when designing modern commercial spaces and offices?

Sophisticated design, flexibility to adapt to diverse concepts, and above all, robustness and quality to withstand harsh operating environments.

There is a brand that is quietly but steadily increasing its presence in the global contract market. That is "Esaila," a contemporary interior brand founded in Taipei in 2012 by designer Kenyon Yeh.

This time, we'll delve into their design philosophy and the reasons why professionals want to adopt their designs for their projects.

"Minimalism" and "playfulness" that strip away the noise of space.

What all Esaila products have in common is a composition of straight and curved lines that eliminates all unnecessary elements. However, this is by no means cold, unadorned minimalism.

The brand name "Esaila" is inspired by the sound of "可以啦 (ē-sái-là)," which means "you can do it," "it's okay," or "it's alright!" in Taiwanese.

This lighthearted and positive philosophy brings a perfect balance of playfulness and approachability to the product.

Minimalist yet somehow catchy. This balance is key to creating a comfortable sense of tension and "pause" in hotel lounges and creative office refreshment spaces.

Transforming everyday tools into functional interior design elements—this playful approach creates a sense of "space" in contract spaces that tend to be serious.

As a design editor, I bring together a global sensibility.

Esaila actively incorporates diverse perspectives without being confined to its own internal framework.

They act as "design editors," curating emerging designers who are active around the world, such as Switzerland's "BIG-GAME" and London-based "Mentsen."

This results in an extremely hybrid and contemporary product lineup that fuses European design contexts with Asian spatial sensibilities.

It seamlessly harmonizes with any modern space, enhancing the overall design aesthetic of the project.

Esaila not only features designs by its founder, Kenyon Yeh, but also actively engages in collaborations with young, passionate designers from around the world.

All Made in Taiwan: The "Quality Reliability" Essential for Contracts

No matter how excellent the design, in commercial spaces used by a large number of people, it won't make it into the specifications unless "durability" and "precision of detail" are guaranteed.

Esaila manufactures all of its products at partner factories in Taiwan that possess high technical capabilities.

Taiwan's manufacturing industry boasts precise metalworking, beautiful welding finishes, and advanced woodworking techniques.

The fusion of these elements results in a robustness that meets Europe's stringent quality standards.

In material selection, we employ FSC-certified timber and environmentally conscious finishes, ensuring that we fully meet the sustainability requirements that are essential in modern projects.

FORE Chair

At first glance, it's a simple bentwood chair. However, behind it lies Taiwan's advanced woodworking techniques that meet strict European strength standards, as well as a commitment to environmental considerations.

The proximity of Taiwan accelerates the project.

"Speed" is just as important a requirement for a project as "quality."

When using imported interior furnishings, the biggest headache for designers is the issue of "lead time" (delivery date). Imported furniture from Europe often involves shipping periods of several months, and unexpected logistical problems can pose a risk to the project's progress.

Esaila's manufacturing base in Taiwan is very close to Japan, offering excellent logistical convenience. Beyond just the physical proximity, the efficient production and shipping system, utilizing Asia's manufacturing network, dramatically reduces uncertainty in delivery schedules.

Maintaining uncompromising design quality while reliably adhering to project schedules—this combination of "high quality" and "reliable speed" is another strong reason why professionals in the field choose Esalila as their partner.

Esaila's furniture eloquently speaks to the "status" of the project the moment you step into the space.

In the next issue of [Contract Insight #Esaila 02], we will discuss how Esaila's products function and enhance the value of spaces in real-world uses and zoning scenarios such as offices, hotels, and commercial facilities. We will provide practical coordination suggestions along with specific product characteristics.
