Marie Rantzau
A self-taught jewelry designer who makes the most of color
The brand's owner and designer was inspired to found the brand after encountering unique jewelry materials while traveling around the world. Having always loved making things, she began making accessories on her own. Traditionally, Danish jewelry is achromatic, and often expresses the natural state of natural products, but Marie Rantzau continues this tradition by adding a touch of color to minimalist and simple pieces, creating unique designs that place great importance on "color."

ENAMEL Copenhagen
Design concept: "Values and Philosophy"
ENAMEL Copenhagen started as a small bead shop using enamel, which is also the origin of the brand name, and has now grown into an accessories brand with a presence in 17 countries around the world. Even today, colorful enamel is used on clasps and motifs, adding to the brand's individuality.
"CREATE JOY THROUGH BEAUTIFUL DESIGN" is ENAMEL Copenhagen's purpose, and "JOY" is the essence of the brand.
Not only do the designs themselves bring joy, but joy is also present in all manufacturing processes. As can be seen from the colorful designs, color is also an element deeply rooted in ENAMEL Copenhagen's DNA, and it always plays a central role in the collection as something that brings joy and vitality.
Many of Marie's designs are inspired by Asia, the accessories' native country, and new products are released four times a year.
Enamel Copenhagen offers jewelry that accompanies the joys of life and precious memories.

Manufacturing Process and Materials
All products are handmade in a trusted factory in Thailand, ensuring high quality yet affordable prices. All products are crafted from sterling silver (925 silver), with 18k gold plating for the gold-colored versions. All pearls are freshwater pearls. 90% of the silver used in our products is recycled, with a goal of 100% in the near future. We also reduce packaging and use 100% recycled plastic bags. We also strive to be a sustainable company by improving detail and transparency through our annual sustainability report based on GRI standards, and by working with suppliers that comply with SMETA standards.

Reason for deciding to work with
Enamel Copenhagen

Illums Bolighus is a long-established interior design shop that's a must-visit when visiting Denmark. While the store offers a wide selection of Denmark's most iconic interior items, one day we noticed an increase in the number of accessory sections near the entrance. Out of curiosity, we browsed the products and collected shop cards from brands that caught our eye. The one that most captivated us was Enamel Copenhagen. While other brands focused on gold and silver, their colorful enamel designs felt fresh and special, and we had a hunch they could stand out in Japan. Above all, we were drawn to the way their designs brighten our moods just by looking at them. At the time, there were still few stores that carried the brand, and their presence at Illums Bolighus was small. However, their sales area has since expanded, and we learned that they eventually became the store's top-selling accessory brand, confirming our intuition.
