A Taiwan-based designer and brand founder, he designs furniture, lighting, and other interior designs for both Taiwanese and international brands. By stripping down the forms of everyday objects to their bare minimum and fusing traditional and modern manufacturing techniques, he creates pieces that are both unique and approachable.

Design concept: "Values and Philosophy"
Esaila is a Taiwan-based design brand founded by designer Kenyon Yeh in 2012. Characterized by contemporary and minimalist designs, the brand offers collections of furniture, lighting, objects, and more.
The brand name "Esaila" comes from the Taiwanese colloquialism "可以" (meaning "can do"), and reflects the philosophy of pursuing technical and aesthetic harmony while valuing lightness and playfulness in everyday life. In addition to Kenyon Yeh's designs, Esalila has ties to Japanese brands and is actively collaborating with young, passionate designers from around the world, such as the Swiss-based BIG-GAME and the London-based Japanese design duo Mentsen.
Furthermore, the Ogle Chair, designed by Hayo Gebauer Studio, won the international design award Red Dot Design Award 2020, and has received global acclaim. As a design editor, Esaila explores the relationships between objects, people, and spaces, aiming to create meaning and symbolic connections that connect these elements.

Manufacturing Process and Materials
All esaila products are produced in Taiwan, based on the highest quality standards in the country, using sustainable materials and environmentally friendly methods. All wooden products are made from FSC-certified wood, and water-based adhesives that are safe for the environment and human health are used. In addition, to reduce the environmental impact of shipping, some products are flat-packed (assembly required).

When we at KO Design Concept first encountered Esaila’s products, we were strongly attracted by their high level of design. With the involvement of internationally active designers, including Creative Director Kenyon Yeh, we felt that the brand’s story was alive in each piece.
Furthermore, we saw great potential in "Made in Taiwan" manufacturing. Taiwan is a world leader in the semiconductor field, and its technological capabilities and quality are also highly trusted in the production of furniture and other products. Just as Japan has long been acclaimed worldwide for "Made in Japan," we envisioned a similar future for Taiwanese manufacturing.
Esaila’s sophisticated beauty naturally blends with the Nordic brands we represent at KO Design Concept and opens up new possibilities. This is why we decided to introduce the brand to Japan.
