Coffee × Art × Design: Posters and designs that brighten up your everyday life at cafes

Ko Design Concept (Headquarters: Shibaura, Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Daiki Koshiba) is the exclusive distributor in Japan for the Danish poster brand PAPER COLLECTIVE and the Taiwanese design brand esaila. The pop-up event, "Coffee x Art x Design: Discover posters and designs that brighten up your everyday life at a cafe," will be held at the roastery cafe Raw Sugar Roast in Kyodo from Wednesday, October 1st to Friday, October 31st, 2025. This will allow visitors to experience the world of these brands in a real cafe space.

The venue, Raw Sugar Roast, is a popular coffee roaster that serves carefully selected specialty coffee. The interior of the store will be decorated with posters carefully selected from the PAPER COLLECTIVE's lineup of over 500 items, proposing ways to enjoy art in everyday life. In addition, esaila, a brand known for its contemporary and minimalist design that began operations in Japan this spring, will be providing stools and side tables that visitors can sit on and touch to experience.

Enjoy a moment of "comfortable living" as proposed by our company in a cafe space that combines coffee, art posters, and designer furniture.

Raw Sugar Roast

Founded in 2019 by Masashi Oda, who gained experience roasting overseas, and Yuya Osakada, a former barista at cafes run by world barista champions, the company began as a roaster wholesaler. The roaster opened near Tokyo's Haneda Airport in spring 2021, and opened a store in Kyodo in 2022. The company uses Dutch-made Giesen roasters. Since its founding, the company's goal of "improving the quality of coffee" has not simply been about taste, but about changing the concept of coffee. Respecting all aspects of coffee culture up to the present day, the company aims to preserve this legacy and pioneer new horizons. It is our hope that the excellent coffee inherited from our predecessors will be available to many people through our Raw Sugar Roast flavor creations.
