Paper Collective [Designer of the Week] Beth Kaye (UK)

A hub where the creativity of artists from around the world converges: Paper Collective, the Copenhagen-based poster brand. This week’s featured designer is Beth Kaye.
Born in 1991, Beth Kaye is a designer hailing from Cornwall, UK.
She began her career as a textile designer, working on homeware and furniture, before returning to the world of oil painting in 2021. She subsequently studied at the prestigious Newlyn School of Art, further refining and elevating her artistic expression.
Elements such as "home," "design," and "objects" play a pivotal role in her intimate body of work. Through meticulously considered compositions, she depicts spaces imbued with a sense of calm and closeness. She seeks to create a peaceful world—capturing fleeting moments of beauty found in everyday life and inviting the viewer on a quiet, restorative escape.
"What I hope my work conveys is a sense of solitude that is not loneliness. I want each painting to be a self-contained world that offers a gentle, embracing quality—a space where one has the freedom to be alone, and the breathing room to simply pause and savor the sunlight streaming in or a cup of coffee."by Beth Kaye
